Michelle & Jacob | Elegant Outdoor Tent Wedding

A warm, sunny July day. Prayers, commitment & love. Smiles, laughter & a few tears of joy. The scenic Chambers Bay Golf Course with its rolling green fairways & towering dunes overlooking the Puget Sound with a forever view. An awesome couple: genuine, warm, intelligent & kind, an unbeatable combination.

Michelle & Jacob saw each other for the first time under beautiful blue skies at Chambers Bay Golf Course. They had time to enjoy each other & take in their surroundings. Michelle was radiant despite the day’s warmth (her father organized a host of fans for the tent). And Jacob? In a word: joyful. The wedding ceremony was filled with vows, blessings, prayer & love; then the bridal party danced into the tent to begin the party.

Jacob opened the festivities by performing a song he wrote for Michelle –he wowed his audience! Toasts followed–meaningful & funny & poignant–from family & friends. Then the dancing began: the newly married couple, father-daughter, mother-son. The anniversary dance–that’s when your guests are invited onto the dance floor to find out who has been married the longest and is always a crowd favorite. Two couples shared the spotlight with 50+ years of togetherness. The afternoon continued with food & drink, more dancing, bouquet & garter toss. During the cake cutting, Jacob may have had a little extra taste as the light-hearted couple shared a slice. Later the sky gave way to the setting sun in a spectacular blaze of color. An amazing couple & all my warm congratulations to them.
