Feeling connected to your community adds a special layer of warmth when a family celebrates their daughter’s bat mitzvah! It’s a day when you can reflect & appreciate the coming of age — part of the cycle of life — when your daughter becomes recognized as a young woman. Happiness, hugs, & smiles were abundant as friends & family greeted each other before the service at the Hillel at the University of Washington. Later guests gathered at the Nisei Veterans Foundation Memorial Hall in the International district in Seattle for fun, food, dancing, candlelighting, the horah, & more. Congratulations to the family — for an exciting, happy & memorable day & evening!
