San Juan Islands | Day before the Wedding

This wedding comes to you in two parts, the day before and the wedding day. So much to share for this destination wedding on Orcas Island. Let’s begin at Moran State Park the day before the wedding. Constitution Point is the highest point in the San Juan Islands; also, Mount Constitution is the second highest mountain on an ocean island in the contiguous 48 states. Then you have the 50 foot stone observation tower built to resemble a medieval tower. And.the.view…….You’re looking out at only some of the 170+ islands in San Juan County. You’re looking over a little piece of the Cascade Mountains that stretch from Canada through California. That snow capped peak is probably Mount Baker, although on a super clear day you can see Mount Baker, Mount Rainier, and way into Canada. A first visit for me, what a thrill!
