Summer Wedding | Rustic Chic Barn Wedding

Phoebe and David planned a summer wedding at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish. It’s a 5th generation family farm that provided a perfect summer setting for their rustic, chic celebration with family and friends. It was roomy and spacious since you could stroll on green grass, enjoy the veranda views of Mt. Pilchuk in the distance, and meander through landscaped paths and fountains to join seating with tables opened to the outside. Perfect!

To start the day, David gathered a group for a fast game of futsal. It’s true, they were that organized. Once at Hidden Meadows, Phoebe and David got ready and then met for a first look. After a few happy tears from the groom and a loving embrace, the two spent a moment privately. Once we enjoyed the beautiful property for the bride and groom’s portraits, we were joined by the amazing bridal party who were ready for anything! A shout out to all of them for making us laugh and reminding us how much fun was mixed in with the love.

Such beautiful details throughout the day that looked effortless. Their color choices of light blush and white and grey for the bridal party looked beautiful against the greenery of the expansive grounds. Exquisite floral arrangements and a gorgeous cake. And fun details, too like the engraved water bottles for the bridal party and the guys’ Sounders socks. So many highlights of fantastic moments: a wonderful ceremony where the bride’s mother handed me a tissue because I couldn’t stop tearing up myself. Flower petals for the ceremony exit. An al fresco reception with lawn games. Toasts that were hilarious, warm, moving, and personal, one-of-a-kind, including a short slideshow that gave us a look back as this day moved forward. A magical first dance, followed by parent dances, and more dancing and celebration. It was one of those special weddings where many details were helped with and contributed to by family and friends. All the sweeter! When you see the connection they have with each other and with family and friends–you know how special they are as individuals. One of my all-time favorite weddings–I was ecstatic to be there. Congratulations to you both and here’s to a lifetime of happiness!

Phoebe | We met in 2012 at Benaroya Hall around Christmas time. We were both there with our families, and one of my fiends introduced me to David during intermission. The rest is history!”

David | We had a really fun first date at the Dale Chihuly exhibit and a restaurant called Crow in Queen Anne. It’s now our favorite restaurant, and we try to only go there for our anniversary (although we sometimes sneak in a visit for half anniversaries too).”
