This wonderful bat mitzvah occasion introduced me to two new things: a new family and a temple I had long wanted to help document a mitzvah within–(twice I had had requests for this temple, but I was unavailable, already booked). So excited I was able to be present for this loving family at Temple Beth Am in north Seattle for a joyful bat mitzvah, followed by a celebration dinner at the elegant Edgewater Hotel in downtown Seattle. The crisp October air highlighted the autumnal accents with the tree leaves turning vibrant colors for the fall. This particular day and evening arrived clear and sunny which made for spectacularly vivid nighttime scenes over the Elliott Bay. The family gathered for the service and the evening celebration with smiles throughout the day, lots of laughter and dinner and dancing and fun. Mazel tov and thank you to this amazing family!
