Pacific Northwest Weddings can be spectacularly beautiful and that’s especially true at the Salish Lodge overlooking the impressive Snoqualmie Falls. The landmark falls provide a dramatic backdrop to remind us of the beauty and power of nature where we live. Emily and Sullivan’s wedding day was mostly cloudy, misty, shrouded in fog with water droplets — until the sun made a gentle appearance later–somehow the colors absolutely pop on soft days, and Emily’s choices of blushes, pinks and soft whites and grey fit perfectly inside the lodge with the amber, silver and gold tones and outdoors with the greens. They both prepared and dressed and had their first reveal together inside the cozy lodge — followed by many family portraits, a lovely ceremony in the indoor/outdoor tent, food, fun, and dancing. Much later, Emily and Sullivan took a few moments to enjoy the break in the rain and have their first stroll as a married couple. Congratulations and all happiness to them both for years ahead.
